This afternoon in the Double Project session a discussion started about how to represent your work at the degree show in the summer.
It was agreed that now is the time to start thinking about what the presentation or branding of the 2007 graduates will look like?
What design ideas will be used, will there be student work on the posters or flyers? Example discussed: 4 flyers could have a selection of 4 individual student work covering 3D CG/ 2D Compositing/ Character Design/ Film.
It was requested that Kingston will try and avoid using the Digital Soup label again and try something different than pixel07 (no disrespect intended).
As 3rd years what do you want it to look like? How do you want the companies + other digital artists visiting your show to see you?
First impressions count, get thinking/ brainstorming/ discussing!

We can get Chantal to draw caricatures of us then we can have own stickers maybe?

I don’t mind drawing for the class, stickers would be super cool. Also for the flyer’s we could try handing them out in stores eg; natterjacks, and places like that for people to pick up on their way out?
I remember us talking about making t-shirts a while back, I think this would be very cool as we could wear them and advertise ourselves. They don’t have to be crazy, simple can also be very effective.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
