It was good to see you all in today as we discussed to the assignment criteria for the Digital Narrative module.
Some of the names we discussed in terms of video art installation were Bill Viola, Gary Hill and Tony Ousler. We also mentioned John Cage but I am not sure he made it to the digital age but its worth checking out his work all the same for ideas.
It was clear to see from Jason’s Blink of an Eye and Dean’s Dada Video Poetry that good ideas can be easily and successfully expressed with the software tools at your disposal.
The main thing you all need to do, is to give some serious time to conceiving the right idea. Its good ideas that get you good marks!
Less face stuff-age and more focus in class.
