I’m not sure if this is what you wanted, but I’ve given it my best shot.
On-screen animation has been around for decades, and the steps leading up to the production have remained consistent throughout history, however, technology has made a huge impact on the way that a cartoon is animated. From the time-tested, attention-to-detail method of drawing each frame by hand, to the fast and easy-to-learn methods of animating with flash on a computer.

No one really knows whether Technology will make the World a better or worse place for us Human Beings in the Future. Everyone looks at the advantages like, how you can do so much just by the touch of a button (touch screen) etc. but no one looks at the disadvantages like, how Human Beings make Eye Contact, Face Expressions, and Physical Touch, these are very important to Human Beings, but it’s more about ‘do i have the latest Technology (phone) incase i don’t fall behind in the World’. Most People might think this is good, but some and only some might think it’s bad. Like maybe People will start feeling awkward around each other, reason being they hardly talk to one another in Person, or they hardly get any attention because they’re on the Phone (Facebook) etc.

Science fiction is the cutting edge of our society. Well that is if you look at the pattern we can see devolving between movies or TV shows and real time technological development. In a sense we rely on one man with his pen & pad, computer or possibly event typewriter to write our futures or maybe it is an organization. If that is the case, must we be cautious with who we entrust with such a responsibility? Who runs the engine of our society’s development? Maybe we should be weary about who writes what on the wall.
