  1. Nate:

With almost 6 billion mobile phone subscriptions and social networking sites such as Facebook amassing over 800 million users, people are losing the ability to socialise face to face. It has become more evident that the accessibility of social technology is driving the world into a text based culture.

  2. I’m not sure if this is what you wanted, but I’ve given it my best shot.

On-screen animation has been around for decades, and the steps leading up to the production have remained consistent throughout history, however, technology has made a huge impact on the way that a cartoon is animated. From the time-tested, attention-to-detail method of drawing each frame by hand, to the fast and easy-to-learn methods of animating with flash on a computer.

  3. Essay:

How Have Movies Predicted the Future?

The movies have proven to predict the future in so many ways and continue to convey subliminal messages which appear in the background of their movies directed at us with their sophisticated technology. In today’s society there are movie moguls who have endeavoured in predicting the fate of our world and its technology. They display in their movies flying cars, robots and government control.

  4. How has the dreams of science fiction Cyborg technology become a reality?
The essay reflects on the ideas of human and machine introduced to our entertainment in film such as “Terminator”, have become a reality to people with disabilities with the help of organisations such as i-Limb.

  5. In my essay I will be looking at how the resent boom in social technology and how its changed the way we eat, breath and live in these modern times. How has Facebook, Twitter and such sites have effected the way we communicate and wether it’s a permanent manifestation or if its just another fad. Touching on what industry changes that have taken place because of this new phenomenon, Has the space race become about digital space?

  6. How technology is helping to make education widely available trough the use of popular social media?

…Recent research data indicates that technologies are more than an entertainment. They have a massive impact in the way we think, learn and interact.

Simulations, digital gaming and social network technologies have all definitely suffered public relations problems that all the new technologies do. However, there are countless examples of these technologies demonstrating their educational value to other industries, confirming the powerful learning opportunities and advantages they offers…

  7. the use of a camera does not rule out a photographer from being taken seriously as an artist, any more than the use of a typewriter rules out a poet, playwright or novelist. but however expensive the camera, or the typewriter, they are only accessories. they cannot make someone an artist.

  8. my essay is on internet reviews and how they play a positive and negative part in buying products, how the brand can help have positive rviews or negative, what are the pros and cons and also how it can be exploited

  9. governments inherently are dystopian since the definition of government is “the political direction and control exercised over the action s of the actions of the members, citizens, or inhabitants of communities, societies, and states; direction of affairs of a state and community. Is technology increasing the amount they are watching and controlling?

  10. No one really knows whether Technology will make the World a better or worse place for us Human Beings in the Future. Everyone looks at the advantages like, how you can do so much just by the touch of a button (touch screen) etc. but no one looks at the disadvantages like, how Human Beings make Eye Contact, Face Expressions, and Physical Touch, these are very important to Human Beings, but it’s more about ‘do i have the latest Technology (phone) incase i don’t fall behind in the World’. Most People might think this is good, but some and only some might think it’s bad. Like maybe People will start feeling awkward around each other, reason being they hardly talk to one another in Person, or they hardly get any attention because they’re on the Phone (Facebook) etc.

  11. Science fiction is the cutting edge of our society. Well that is if you look at the pattern we can see devolving between movies or TV shows and real time technological development. In a sense we rely on one man with his pen & pad, computer or possibly event typewriter to write our futures or maybe it is an organization. If that is the case, must we be cautious with who we entrust with such a responsibility? Who runs the engine of our society’s development? Maybe we should be weary about who writes what on the wall.
