pc zealots with their noses out of joint after having some gentle fun poked at them in the get a mac ads decided (foolishly) to complain the adverts were untrue
they complained to the advertising standards authority that the ads suggested macs crash less often, are just as insecure and get no viruses
well just like the hapless PC guy in the ads they got it wrong and now look fairly foolish – it was just a bit of fun after all but going to courst means the factual accuracy of the ads had to be properly and independently tested and the result??
apples claims were all upheld and complaints rejected – so now it is official: macs crash less often, don’t get viruses like PCs and are more secure
you ‘d think they might have learned….

I fully agree with you mark. My Vista PC, with it’s amazing search function, crashes everyday, can’t run some programs and is rather sluggish at times. I really think Microsoft have a serious problem with releasing products that are far from ready to be shipped. I certainly wouldn’t buy a BLT with only LT in it!
I personally feel that Apple and Microsoft can learn from each other, in terms of design, security and availability.
I don’t know why Microsoft havent been challenged on this(crashing etc). Needs to be sorted out.

My iMac has crashed twice, both times running Cinema4D but I blame the Intel chips, my G4 laptop hasnt crashed once.
